The Problem

Dell Model Driver Packs are extremely inefficient. Why use a Model Pack for 1 Computer Model, when you can use a Pack for multiple Computer Models?

Dell Family Packs

Dell creates Family Driver Packs (for ImageAssist customers) that can reduce the total Driver size as these packs work for multiple computer models

But the real problem with these is that they are not as up to date as the Dell Model Packs

Why use Family Packs?

Because if you have similar computer models in your environment, you are taking up a considerable amount of space in these duplicates. The image below shows two Dell Model Driver Packs ... can you tell the difference between the two?

The Solution

An easy way to save space is to combine drivers from multiple Model Packs into a single Driver Pack
